there's a quote that goes something like people who say you can't love a second child as much as the first don't have more than one child. i know that's not exact wording, but it sums up the idea. i was so fearful before our second baby was born. how could i love this baby as much as i love harper? would there be enough love to go around for both of them?
in a word, absolutely. i don't know why i ever questioned it. my heart isn't divided in half for the two of them; it's doubled.
i am in awe and wonder over this little being. she's pretty amazing.
right now, she's rolling over, front to back and back to front. she's ticklish, even when you're not purposely finding her sweet spots. she's giggling. she's cooing.
she has the twinkle in her eye. she's laid back. she's sleeping (ok, not a ton, but it's getting better).
she is pure heaven, this little one of ours.
she's got a few rolls here and there, and i love it. her cheeks are perfection. she is well fed.
she is loved and adored.
i took her 4 month photos, and realize looking back at these pictures that it completely describes her at this moment in time.
she adores her sister, and lights up whenever harper is near her or paying her any attention...
she is a drooly, drooly mess most of the time...
she goes from no smile to full-wattage in less than 2 seconds...
she sticks out her tongue...
she shows concerns over things around her she's not sure of...
and then she spots someone she knows...
everything goes in her mouth, including anyone's finger who dares get near her grip...
she is starting to sit longer in her bebe pod...
she reminds me that i need to clean my floors more often...
she is raspberrying constantly...
