Scattered...and thankful

I didn't think I'd get back to this blog. Didn't think I'd have the time, or the energy. But, recently, something has been renewed in me.

There are a million things I could catch up on since my last blog 9 months ago. Looking at that last post, Harper is an itty bitty thing, barely able to sit up on her own. Now, she's a toddler who doesn't stop running, playing, laughing and talking! She's the light of our lives. But, rather than look to the past, I'm looking instead at the present. Keeping myself grounded and reminding myself of all there is to be thankful for.

I am thankful for my new job, which allows me to be with Harper in the same building all day, every day, and enables me to spend more time with her, both after school and with summers off. I am thankful for my marriage, which is going on 6 years in June, and the wonderful husband I have to share my life with. I am thankful for friends, who keep me sane, laughing and calm. I am thankful for our house, in this crazy real estate market, and the fact that it may not be the biggest, but it is filled with love, and lots of toys. And I am most thankful for our peanut, Harper Elizabeth, who fills our days with wonder and amazement, joy and life.

I have to thank my friend, Kellie, who I think was the one to inspire me to get back to my blog. I'm thinking of making a change to it- changing the name for a start. For anyone out there who might be reading this...do you have any thoughts??

To keep you coming back, here is a recent photo of Harper.

Here's to more...
