premiere television event

last thursday, harper and i headed to royal oak with jayme and henry for a pbs kids event. we don't watch pbs (or much television for that matter), but harper certainly knows who curious george is and was uber-excited to see him in person! (i foresee teenage years with all her craze when the latest boy band comes to town. that was me, for sure, so i'm certain some of those genes got passed down.) and she didn't seem to care that we knew very few of the other characters. she high-fived and hugged and stood by them for a photo op for mom anyways. and then we danced to the main event-barney- until both harper and henry became a little restless and we realized it was time to head back home. within 20 minutes, the two of them were zonked. we had a great time. thanks jayme and henry!
