the day before mommy went back to work, harper decided she wanted to spend some quality time in the er, just to ensure she had mommy's full attention for one last whole day. after a night of coughing, congestion and trouble breathing, mommy and daddy didn't want to risk waiting or taking chances and decided to head to the pediatric emergency room. harper was such a trooper through all the poking and prodding, the x-rays and the belly ultrasound. diagnosis? gas! and then, later that day, she officially caught her first cold. a scary day to start, but everything turned out in the end and harper charmed some wonderful doctors and nurses.
