mommy's birthday arrived just days before her maternity leave ended. harper and mommy had lunch with aunt heather, then went to their infant massage and baby yoga classes. mommy and daddy attempted a dinner out with harper, but she wasn't allowing it. there wasn't more than 10 minutes that the three of them were seated at the table together, when one parent wasn't walking and bouncing the baby around in the lobby to ease her cries. harper was pretty fussy after being out all day, and just wanted to be home. we ended up boxing up salads, dinner and dessert and enjoying the meal at home after harper was in bed. even still, it was a great birthday!
