making the most of it

you wouldn't know it now, but merely more than a week ago, we did have snow.  maybe just a bit of it, but enough that we captured an afternoon with our friends kellie, blake and anna and had a date with the sledding hill on their property.

it was an awesomely beautiful and cold afternoon.



and while we may have only ventured outside for less than half-hour, we capitalized our time.  lots of trips down the hill, a bit of anna rolling across it, a race between the dads, and several rosy cheeks.



we called it a day and headed back to the house for a yummy dinner.



see how happy this snow makes us michiganders?  hopefully, mother nature doesn't disappoint and brings us more of the fluff.
